Start MC with Single Pane

Hello. I always use Multi Commander using a single pane view. But each time I reopen the program, it defaults to a double pane view. It would be great if the pane width / layout settings were saved so that each time the program re-opened, it would maintain the single-pane view I always use. I believe I've used the appropriate functions to save the settings, but that didn't appear to do the trick.

If this is already possible, please let me know. Thank you.
