Milliseconds & Autosize Columns Problems
« on: December 07, 2013, 09:53:44 »
Hi.  I'm now to Multi Commander.  It sure is loaded with features!

I believe that I may have run across two problems.  Perhaps there is a way to handle these?

1) Make "milliseconds" always be 3 digits (leading 0's) or add a symbol for it in the "custom time format".

2) "Autosize columns" doesn't handle Date/Time correctly.  It seems to use a fixed size rather than adjusting to my custom formats.

Thanks, John

1. Can not add symbol for milliseconds to custom time format since this is using built in time formating in Windows and it does not support milliseconds.

2. Resize the column to fit you size and select to "Set current layout as default" then you new sizes and layout will be used as default.
Or go into customize and change it there.

Hello Mathias.

1)  OK on not being able to add to custom format.  How about always making ms be 3 digits (pad with leading 0's, if needed)?

2)  Excellent!  I was able to do exactly what I wanted and more.  :)

Thanks,  John

Typo on #1:  I should have said:  Pad with trailing (not leading) 0's.
