I'm reviewing the default settings, so got a question for ALL..

Are there any settings that you think should be X as default instead of Y ?

So what settings do you change when you done a fresh installation of MultiCommander ?

I use commander style. And on clean copy i set:
1. F2 = rename.
2. Ctrl+\ = go to root.
3. Tab panel = top.
4. Auto close progress window > Only autoclose on short operations = off.
5. List View Mode > Filename = File name with right aligned ext.

I can't but want to be able to set:
1. Pack/Unpack to target

exosceleton:
Always sort folders alphabetically.
Its a while since i did a clean install but i believe this is off by default right now.

I do think this is a highly personal preferance and there are reasons to set the default either way, but thats the first one i change.

Pedro Albuquerque:
I'm not sure if it's default setting right now but I have it always set on:
- always show/display hidden files/folders.

I was going to give my settings but I realize we have each own settings.

Would be better to set default settings in setup program as command line parameters or ini file?

My settings for example:
1. Shift+F6 = rename. (because of TC)
2. Ctrl+< = go to root. (because of AZERTY keyboard)
3. Tab panel = top.
4. Do not show hidden files by default
5. Sort files by extensions
6. Pack/Unpack to target
7. Hide all buttons bars
8. Left Arrow = change input focus to command line
9. Minimize to tray instead of closing
etc
