open multi-rename extension keyboard shortcut
« on: November 20, 2014, 07:02:24 »
Hi everyone,
I have done a bit of a search on this forum and couldn't find any piece of info about how to open multi-rename extension via keyboard shortcuts (like Ctrl+M in Total Commander). I have found the renaming shortcut for one file/folder (Shift+F6) but nothing for the multi-renaming tool.
I have also tried to set my own shortcut in configuration-->keyboard customization-->explorer panel, but there is no multi-rename entry present there.
Is there any possibility to invoke this multi-rename tool via keyboard shortcut or do I have to click on menu extensions-->multi-rename each time I need to do that? I multi-rename files and folders pretty often and consider very helpful such shortcut, if available.

Thanks for any input in this matter!

1. Go to menu Configuration > User defined commands
2. Create new command
3. Set type to Internal commands, module to Multi Rename, command to Multi-Rename
4. Press [Hotkey] button and assign desired shortcut.
