          (Delete ColorFormatting.xml from user config folder to get the default file, for portable replace it with the *.tpl file)

  FIXED - Go to Root will now on locked tabs (with allow subpath change) go to the root of the locked location.

After upgrade, my antivirus blocked MultiComannder.exe becasue of suspicion of Adware.Win32.Solimba

That is a false positive..

If you look at VirusTotal it is only 1/56 that think it is suspicious. Chinese AV called ( Baidu-International )
None of the major ones have any issues with it.

False positives are very common these days. It usually fixes it self after a couple of definitions updates.

Thanks for the new build Mathias.
Always find lots of good stuff in MC but wanted to say that I was especially pleased to see the MultiRename changes.

The entire system with customization profiles and color themes and syntax color formatting in the MultiFileViewer is redesigned.

So if you had configured the color in the viewer you will have to redo that. sorry..

Color Themes are now separated out from the configuration profiles. And there is now a editor to create Color Syntax Formatting.
The viewer had support for that before. But you needed to create the files for it manually. Now it is a lot easier, and formatting for common file types will be included. At the moment only c/c++ formatting are included, but more will be added.

Some good things in the new beta 2001. Thanks for the continuing work & development of MC.
Also, thanks for the copy on select Mathias.  Smart selection switch is a nice touch

I noticed a possible error in MDV.
When opening multiple txts with shift-select <F1> the number
[#/#]
for file count, x of xx files, shows
[#/zd]
zd is a constant, # is the number in the selected group.

Yes I saw that. just a typo with building the title
