Hello,
on windows 10 HP620 64 bits:
I drag-drop a directory name to the tab area, I get the + apearing, but no new tab créated ?

When you drag and drop files / folders it will try to copy or move them
To create a new tab double click on empty tab area. Or right click on empty tab area and select explorer panel, or press Ctrl+T do duplicate the current active tab.
