Update problems

I'm always having problems trying to update to the latest releases no matter what I do it still fails, below is the latest transcript of the process, can anyone offer advice please?  :(

* Update "Multi Commander" located in : "d:\Program Files\MultiCommander (x64)".
You are running on a 64 bit platform.
Ready to update.
Make sure you do not already have Multi Commander running.
Press start to begin.
Checking if newer version exists.
Downloading : http://multicommander.com/updates/version.xml
Version information received.
Current installed version is 5.6.0.2001

Look like you do not have permission to write to that location

Start the Update program as administrator.

Normally it will restart it self as admin if needed. But don't know why that did not happen for you. Might be because of some option you selected during install.
