Config Backup

Had to do a clean OS install today & discovered the renaming profiles didn't get saved 
I shall be spending a while trying to rewrite those! 

Wondering if that is a known thing or my fault?
Also wonder if the tabs config (colours etc) should be exported too?

Have yet to notice any other missing settings, so I'm pretty sure it has worked otherwise

I am not creating backup of profile. I just moved it to other drive using symbolic link:

mklink /D "profile_path" "new_path_for profile".



NOTE: Folder must be moved before creating link.

You mean saved MultiRename profiles ?
I will take a look.

Also wonder if the tabs config (colours etc) should be exported too?

The default color for tabs are stored in normal config and that is include in backup.
But customized colors for current tabs are stored as session setting.

Thanks for the quick response Mathias.
Yes MultiRename profiles - they weren't included when I did my restore.  Where do they go?  I see the xmls for other things...

Luckily my buttons were OK - my scripts were safe 

Maybe it is possible to export or copy out a session ini for the tabs state?
