Favorites Bar Please
« on: December 19, 2015, 04:08:32 »
First - Multi Commander is pretty impressive.
I keep trying new replacements for the standard Windows Explorer and I look for multi-window and favorites functionality which I miss in Explorer.

That said, I don't know how you use Multi Commander, but I tend to jump to folders using favorites (currently use Filebox on Explorer). I did not find it very intuitive to use the Favorites on Multi Commander (but I can get used to it). Can you please add a Favorites Bar plugin.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

I tend to use tabs as 'favorites'.  Leaving them open when MC closes saves their state & they reappear when MC is reopened.
But

lots of ways to customize access to favorite paths.

Favourites can be access from many places.

*Drag folders you self into the quick launch bar..
*Assign 10 quick path to Ctrl+0 -> Ctrl+9
*Browse to FAV: to navigate the favorites and then go to favorites. (if showing Folder tree this is also located there.)
*Alt+Backspace is shows the Favourites Windows
*Assign button on the button panel to change location
*Create UserDefinedsComamnd to change location and places them on Buttons/Menu/shortcuts
*Create Alias for the command line field to move to different path (If you prefer the kb way)

I probably forgot some way
