Folder Size
« on: December 24, 2017, 06:45:57 »
Just started with Multi Commander and it looks fantastic. From previous experience it is the features which immediately stand out as annoying with new software which unfortunately tend to persist in the mind. In this case it is the folder size format. Most often one uses folder size to quickly see what is using most space on a drive, and one is looking for quick comparisons. The detailed format of the size is not user friendly and I would like to see a size format option. I will get accustomed to it but it is definitely not easy to scan down column and compare sizes. This probably applies to the file size format also.

I realize you can sort by size but you still have to count the number of digits and think " is this KB, MB or GB?"

Under the menu: Configuration->Explorer Panel Settings on the "Display" tab in the "File and Folder Display" section, you can set the file size units and the suffix.

Very user friendly ;)
