Scroll selected files into view
« on: August 25, 2019, 10:57:24 »
Hi,
in a long folder list one entry is selected a few pages down.

With "enter" I will change in that selected folder.
With "backspace" I will change to the parent folder.

Now I see the base directory beginning with the first folder, the previous selected entry is still selected, but a lot of pages down. It is not being scrolled into view.

If i press crsr-up or crsr-down the prev/next folder is selected and scrolled into view.

Is there an option to automatically select the current entry or is this a feature request?

Best wishes
msi

That is strange. Normally when you go back up to parent folder the focus row should be on the row that you left.
(unless you go back in history. Then it can go to an item that is had a focus before.)

Check Explorer Panel settings under Display tab under section "Selection and Checking of items"
Make sure "Remember file/folder in focus when changing path" is checked
