multiple rename DONT WORK [N,3-4] WORK [N,3]
« on: March 01, 2020, 14:22:59 »
Hello

Im having some problem with multiple renaming files with function [N,3,4]. Right function works ok [N,3].

Example is listed bellow.

PDF manual "MultiCommander_Doc_ALPHA"

Could you give me a solution for mentioned problem. Is there any function to mass rename "24 02 2020 18 03 – kopija – kopija (8)" to "24 02 2020" similar to function left (24 02 2020 18 03 – kopija – kopija (8);10).

That is happening becuse you start at character 3 that is a space,  then say that it should be 4 characters in length.
And they are the same for all files..  " 02 " so thats why you get a conflict.

But if they all are the same name it will not be able to rename it, you get a conflict, But you can add a counter at the end [C]
[N1,16][C]  to get a number at the end
