Get selected(marked) file

Functions GetSourceSelectedFileNames() and GetTargetSelectedFileNames() return values even there are no selected files.
I only need to work with selected (marked) files. How can I determine whether a file is selected or just in focus?

in version 9.7 you can send "IGNORE_FOCUS" as parameter to prevent that
