Question 1
One 'Tip of the day' is about how to find open files. The shown picture did not help me what to do.

Question 2 (maybe not related to MulltiCommander)
Sometimes one can get a popup telling that "the other" program is using it. It must be closed. Then try again.

1. Yes that picture is probably very old. FindFiles have changed since then

2. Hard to say without more context. But if another program has a file open without sharing it. MC can not copy or delete it.
