Subfolders not included when filtering or searching
« on: November 24, 2021, 18:05:00 »
Not sure if I remembered it wrong that
before I upgraded recently,
subfolders were included when filtering or searching.
Now no matter when filtering or searching(F3)
filenames with my keyword in subfolders cannot be found.

Which exact version of MC and what OS?
(Also, Commander or Explorer style?)

Extensions> Find Files search always also in subfolders.
Filters never work in Subfolders, but you can do a flat file system view (Ctrl+Shift+B), then are you able to use the quick filter for all files inkl.Files in subfolders.

You might have change the "Sub Levels" option in the search dialog. if this is "0" then it will not search in subfolders.
Normally you want it set to "All"
