Gigabyte or Terabyte
« on: February 12, 2022, 13:59:51 »
I have a 2 terabyte hard drive which is reported to be 2 gigabyte by Multi Commander. Windows 10 sees it as 2 terabyte. I recently bought it for a ridiculously cheap price from my local market. It is unbranded and is accessed via a USB C lead. Could the drive be faulty or does Multi Commander only see external drives up to a certain size?

Hello, this needs deeper investigation. There may be something wrong with the USB adapter you use, but mostly this can happen for drives above 3TB.
What brand of controller do you use and what is the true size of the partition (like 1.81 TrueTB or something).
And what happens when you copy to it ?
