Auto save session?

Hi

I want MC to automatically save the layout, tabs etc every time I quit, and I want to start with the last session wwithout messing with tab saves etc. I like that I can save sessions but that ddoes not cut it for me, I end up saving many sessions :( and I need to remove the unneed ones constantly.Any ideas?

I am using MC 13.1 Windows 11 64

Normally.. Layout and tabs and location are saved when quiting and used at next restart..

In Explorer Panel settings at the bottom under "save on exit" section.. you find what settings inside the tab should be saved

This does not work for me :( See the attachment  for my settings. I restarted MC and the previous folders are not there :(

Ok So I think the issue is this, it wont remember it if MC is closed during a computer restart.
