Is it possible to have 3 screens (panels) in MC to show the contents of 3 drives at the same time?

No. But you can use multiple instances and switch between windows with Alt+Tab, or you can use tabs.

I know that, I just thought the option of having 3 screens would be be easier

Ihave in the last past used Q-Dir (four panels) before Multi Commander (which is my prefered)...

Tried it, didn't like it, missing a lot of features MC has

No. the concept in MC is around the source /target panel.. that the panel that is in focus is always the default source and the 'other' visible is the target..
You can however have multiple tabs
