Possible Bug (15.4.0.3088)
« on: April 17, 2025, 12:36:52 »
Hi,

after updating to 3088 the main Window stays empty if explorer tree is enabled (at least in my case...) and tab session shall be restored.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Multi Commander 3088 (Updated or clean installation - doesn't matter)
2. Configure 2 Windows: Left Window with 4 Tabs at different locations, Right Window: No explorer Tree enabled, position: Desktop
3. Enable explorer Tree on all 4 Tabs at the left window
4. Save the configuration
5. Restart the application

Result (see screenshot attached):

- No folders, no files visible in any tab of the left window (just blank "file handling window)
- Folder position (explorer tree) lost within every tab in any tab on the left window

Expected Result:

- Folders and files should be visible (as within the versions before 3088).
- Folder position should be restored from saved tab configuration (as within the versions before 3088).

As mentioned in short at the top: Clean install of 3088 has no effect.

Work around:
- Confirm folder path within every tab to restore folders and files by entering the line with mouseclick left an confirming with "enter".
--> However does not restore explorer tree position

Is it a bug or is the bug infront of the screen?  :D

Beside that: Thank you for making my life easier with this tool  :D

Thank you very much!  :)

Just let me know if you need further information for reproducing this.

I have the same problem. To access the files anyway, you have to double click into the field with the path and press Enter.
