Every second line in another background color
« on: June 26, 2012, 19:40:50 »
Hello,

it would be very useful, if you could offer the opportunity to make the background of every second line in another color, for example light grey or light blue, so that it would look like white-light grey-white respectively white-light blue-white etc.

You can.
In Explorer Panel Settings under the Color tab you can enable "Alternating background color"

Thank you, I also had to activate "overrider standard windows background",  then it worked.
BTW should it not be called override (spelling fault)?

Hello Mathias,

it would be nice, even if "Alternating background color" and "override standard windows background" are checked,
selected files and focused files could keep their own background colors (perhaps as an option).

ah I see,

found my error. I used a standard color profile and in the color specifications for file (normal)  "use standard background color" was not checked.
Thank you for the hint.
