Move color settings to its own category
« on: December 26, 2012, 09:57:04 »
Now there are 2 settings categories: Core settings and Explorer panel settings.

I suggest adding third category for only color settings.

P.S. Maybe other settings should be reorganized too.

There will be a lot of changes regarding settings in v3.0
But I can not pull out all color settings for all parts and put them together because everything in MC is an extension.
MC is built around an extension/plugin API,  Explorer Panel is an extension (UI only, the actual file copy and stuff is part of the Core), Search UI is an extension, Settings panel is an extension, All file systems (local, rar, zip , ftp, reg) are different plugins, and so on.

(Hmm I should draw a picture or somethings and have in the doc, Is a bit complicated to explain how everything works.)

Anyway. More of the extensions/plugins will move over and use the "Settings Panel" for their settings. And specially for the core part some of the settings will be moved to other files and so.

A lot of internal changes are coming in v3.0.  More information about that, and how to test it is coming shortly.
