Insert separator

Hi.
How to insert a separator on a custom user Quick Launch Bar? Standard separator makes large gaps between the buttons.

You can not. The Quick Launch bar is not a normal toolbar. 
And because of the dynamic behavior of it, all "items" on the bar must be the same size.

It's a pity, looks not prettily.
