Feature Requests and Suggestions / multi tags addition
« Last post by phedlund on Yesterday at 22:52:42 »
Greetings,
Would it be possible to add another multi-tag
${mcDrive}
This would return the drive multicommander is on. On the button editor that would mean

execute
${mcDrive}:/portableapps/aimp/aimp.exe

Either that or add an R button when using the execute type for a button in the button editor.
Thanks

SDK / Windows Message API is working?
« Last post by antekgla on Yesterday at 20:37:10 »
Hi,
I recently discover MultiCommander and i am impress!
So complex and full of options!
Congratulations for this great software!

I am interested in the Windows Message API, I read the docs and is a little hard for me because I am a begginer Delphi/Lazarus programmer.
But my first and main question is: The Windows Message API is working? because I download your Sample Project with the C++ Helper.
I have MultiCommander open of course, I execute MCCopyDataSendGetSample.exe but nothing happens, any button I press the path still remains C:\windows\system32

Thanks in advance!

Beta Releases / Re: MultiCommander v7.3 BETA
« Last post by Matthias515566 on June 21, 2017, 16:48:31 »
When some items selected and double click at another item, all selected items will be opened. Therefore i made a multiscript which hotkey i everitime forget.
Code: [Select]
MC.Run CMD="${focusfilepath}" SHELLhttp://forum.multicommander.com/forum/index.php/topic,1673.0.html

Hoping you can make that the double click will be like this multiscript and the enter-key just open all selected files. Maybe 7.3 is just the step for this change.

Support and Feedback / Hide Folder Tree by default
« Last post by Oliwally on June 17, 2017, 01:09:35 »
Sorry - I feel like an idiot - I can't find the settings button that allows me to NOT show the folder tree by default when I create a new tab.

Thanks for your help.

MultiRename windows never saves any column sizes

OK thanks Mathias.
I will see if toggling autoresize helps.  Had thought that might override the 'saved' layout.

Was it ever possible to save the column size in the rename dialog?  It will save dimensions when being resized but always shrinks columns far left regardless of size/position on close :(

Unfortunately those few pixels make a lot of difference with some of my long filenames...
Isn't saving a default supposed to be a persistent setting?
The window position & size is persistent between closing down/reboot, as are my open tabs.  But not my column width settings  :-\
It normally does.. Depending on what you do and stuff.

Here's the same window opened after clean boot (so settings should be saved)  'whitespace' appeared on some tabs columns.  I have yet to discern a fixed pattern to this behavior, it isn't always the same tabs & sometimes they are all OK.   :o ::)
If you get whitespace then autosize is probably not on.. Then it will not try to do any auto sizing to make sure all size is used and nothing goes past the end.
