Title: Browse Archive
Post by: acemal on February 08, 2017, 08:30:47
Hello,

I am a new user of Multi Commander. Thanks for this wonderful utility.

I have been trying to browse some Winamp skin archives which are zip archives with wsz extension without success.
With other file managers i have used it is simply done with a "Ctrl-PgDown" and then the file is treated as an archive and i am able to see whatever is inside.
What is the proper way to do it in Multi Commander?

Best regards

You can configure the FS-Zip extension to open wsz extension in Menu > Configuration > Manage Plugin - Extensions
Then select Filesysem plugins and for FS-Zip select options and add "wsz" to the list

For files that i will be working frequently adding the extension to the list would certainly be a solution. But for the once in a while situations would you please consider adding such a feature (such as "Ctr-PgDown) to force treating the file as a archive?
