Title: Start MC with layout of last session
Post by: Sempervivum on November 10, 2014, 09:40:01
Hallo,
I would like that MC stores the current layout of the windows and the paths when it's terminated and reloads it when it is started again. Currently MC starts with a fixed setting I had previously set by the command line. In the meantime I have removed that parameters from the command line but MC continues to start with that settings.
Couldn't find any item in the settings that controls this.
Regards - Ulrich

In the meantime I could solve this problem. It was my fault: I had copied the link from the desktop to the autostart folder. Then I changed the command line on the desktop and wasn't aware that MC was started from the autostart with the old command line!

It reverts backwards in the path only if the path was not found. Or if a fixed path was force by commandline or startup settings files.

Network path are not remembered by default since it will halt MC for a while on startup if the network path is missing.

But you can change that in settings..
Explorer Panel Settings. uncheck "Save only path to localharddrive"
