Hi Gentlemen,

Thanks very much for your answers. I tried the find files and added the word I was looking for and it came back in about a second....brilliant!

Hi, I have found the text tool Find & Replace but I only want the Find part...... how can I make this happen?

I have a Windows PC subdirectory with about 800 M3U playlists in it.

I want to scan all the files and Find any with a particular word or text string inside. I am then quite happy to perform any ongoing actions.

I expect the answer to be under 10, but I am not prepared to spend endless hours opening 800 playlists individually with Worpad for example to get the answers!!

Can MC perform this function?

Cheers

Support and Feedback / Increaing overall screen size

Sorry if this is a naive question, but as my eyes are not what they used to be, is there a simple/quick way of increasing the viewing panel size?  I am looking for something similar to a web browser window where you can scale up to 125%/150%/200% etc etc.

Thanks

Support and Feedback / Locked Files Viewing and sorting
« on: October 30, 2015, 11:21:48 »
Is there a fast way of finding locked files within a directory, and also within sub folders in that directory?

I can do a visual inspection of the individual files to see the locked ones, which allows me to make any changes, but this is time consuming when several thousand are involved, but this is impossible when several hundred sub folders are also involved.

Looking in the Forum, I found the Flat Files System View, this allows me to scan the files in the sub folders, but again very time consuming, and easy to miss given that the lock symbol is hidden under the file name icon.

Consequently I was looking at a sort option for locked files ............. but can’t find one, is there a way of just getting the locked files both within and outside of the sub folders to display on their own?

The Background is that these are music files that are now being used as part of a home streaming project
Thanks
