Title: Option to display file extension inside file column
Post by: mrbungle on August 05, 2016, 03:11:24
It's very useful to have a separate 'file extension' column, that should remain, but I would also like the option to display the file extension in the 'name' column as well.  To me it's disconcerting to see the file name, but have to look somewhere else to look for the file extension - this is especially a problem when you have a lot of files with the same name, but different extension.  Is this possible to implement?  It would be a good improvement.

I note that there is a great ability to add custom columns, but unfortunately I don't see a column that has the full file name  :o

Just an update: In version v6.4.6 (build 2246) 64bit, the full path to that feature is:
Code: [Select]
Configuration / Explorer Panel Settings / Display / File and Folder Display / View Mode Settings / Detailed View Mode / File Extension
Found no Double-Thumbs Up icon, thus only Thumb Up   :D
