Title: customize shortcuts - old shortcut still with same function
Post by: derb81 on November 19, 2020, 10:06:30
Hi guys,

i am new to multi commander and was using total commander a lot in the past.
not having to learn all differences regarding shortcuts i wanted to reassign the ones i used most to be similar to what i've used before.

one example for this is the favorites menu. in tc i was used to type CTRL-D to get my favorite folders list.
as CTRL-D is already assigned for unselect all i tried the following steps:
- remove CTRL-D assignment for unselect all
- assign CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-D to unselect all (just to make sure it gets overwritten)
- assign CTRL-D to Show Favorites

CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-D works fine to unselect all selected files after a restart of MC. But: it still does the same when pressing CTRL+D.
When i reopen the "Customize Keyboard setup" window everything seems to be correct. Show favorites >  CTRL-D and Unselect all > CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-D

anyone an idea why it misbehaves?

using v9.7 build 2590 x64 on windows 10

Some keys can be overridden at the moment since they are kind of default keys for the UI element. like Ctrl+D for unselect all,, Ctrl+A select all.. arrow up / down and some other,
