When the EU rstop the daylightsavings, then we have no longer the daylightsavings-problem.

Today i made some daylightsavingsproblem-tests.  In the Summer time the problem do not exist. Any file fill be copied with the correct date. In the winter time, all files will have a wrong date after copy or move operation.

better i make a thread in winter - or waiting until the EU removed this daylightsavings.

You need a filter for only image files. MC have such a preconfigured filter in the "Show View Filter popup menu". But if youuse this the quickfilter bottom rigt is blocked for this filter. Therefore MC need another filter-layer for such filters.

No. I want hide this Folders (Files only, not hide the files). My first Post is wrong. No idea how i made this failure. I use not the "Only Folders" Filter, i use and need the "Only Files (-/*)" Filter to disable the Folders. Sorry, this sounds very stupid to show only this "Spamfolders". The StarOffice 5 integrated FileExplorer have the same Feature. This was really nice times. Off Topic: This run under Win 10, but i have only StarOffice 7 installed since LibreOffice removed the import filter for StarOffice Files.
Files Only is really a nice feature, because the folders are anyway in the FolderTree. Maybe i will use this also for other Folders when it integrated in MC. Maybe it will be also nice to show only a special file-type in a Tab, that some temp files or logfiles always invisible.

Is it possible to have another filter or filter layer beside the bottom right field which is in the background, just for the layout? When i use the Bottom right field while daily work the "Only folders" Filter will be destroyed anyway.

What is the "daylightsavings-problem"?  I run MC permanently in Admin mode and I have no problems

Sometimes (i guess now in the summer time) will be the modify dates 1 hour wrong. This is the daylightsavings problem. And this is only when run as administrator. The same in FC and FC have a synchronizer, this can cause that a newer file be overwritten by a older file. MC have no syncronizer, it is not so matter, but when all dates a hour wrong und you synchronize later with another software you can overwrite a newer file again. This is only when you synchronizing the same within a hour. The Android Taschenrechner destroy anyway the Modify Date.

The Windows Documents Folder is full of from any program spammed folders. Therefore i do permanent remove the folders from the view with the view filter ([L] Show View Filter popup menu.................................Ctrl+Shift+F> Only Folders Files) Value: -/*and it will be nice when this stay after reboot - saved in tab session.

I tried to unpack the Software FontViewOk directly in the program files folder, but this did not work. MC do just nothing, say nothing when run not anyway in admin mode.

Have somebody testet the daylightsavings-problem when run MC permanent as admin?

Thank you very much for allowing 60 Tab sessions. Today i created another new tab session and was happy that it works. The alternative is save tabs to file, but i like it when everything in one place and i forget always where the files saved.

The solution is Alt Gr+Anykey (Firstsearchletter) (Letter for start searching). Or Ctrl+Alt+Firstsearchletter I don't use this very often and forget it how it works.

When a Explorer Panel enabled, the quickjumpsearch should start immediately when a Key pressed. I guess MC needed Alt to activate this in the past, but this do not work anymore. or i have forget how it works. The screenshot show another explorer. the left down entryfield show the quickjumpsearch letters. Sorry i don't know the right name for the feature.

Might be fixed in latest beta.  In some situations it was not always updated

I have the Build 2515 installed and yes, the problem is fixed now. I have a AMD A6-6310. I thougt this people which have not the problem was intel users . Thank you for this very nice work.

the problem with the lack of progress and and speed seems to be only present when copying very big files. I made today a copy of a folder with smaller files and the progres info was back for this job.

Maybe you can change the kind of the progress windows that they are no longer have a own place in the taskbar. This boxes should be inside of MC and not outside with a own place on the taskbar.

No, it is not possible to disable the old panel also not when have the right settings and using the keyboard shortcut and it crash. Watch my Screenshots.
Where can i find the other command for searching without the panel?

The Ctrl+F for the advanced filter do not working anymore. I know, Ctrl+F is in other software used for Searching, buti guess alot of users used it in MC a long time for the advanced filter.

Dont start from menu.. then it is forced to open as a own module

Use shortcut or toolbar or other way

I guess this is not the solution!
I use everytime F9. My Keyboard customization is not a user defined command:

[G] Extensions - File Search....................................F9
I have found out that it only crash when the advanced file search used. When the short file search used it works without crash, but i tested it only when the virtual drives are off in config because after the crash i changed the config. Core settings> File system>Tweaking.

maybe u can use the process explorer and kill all multicommander processes - select the process and press del. And start the MultiUpdate.exe which is in the program folder manually

Maybe you can watch what the antivirus software blocked? My AV blocking sometimes to much also by false positives.
