I can extract a zip with subfolders and they are created.  Can you explain what you are doing.. What do I have to do to reproduce it ?

Simply select the ZIP file without opening it and extract it with Alt+F6. Then the main directory with the name of the ZIP file should be created in the target directory, and this should also work for multiple ZIP files at the same time, if I’m not mistaken. In any case, the main directory named exactly like the ZIP file is not created, and the error message appears instead. Edit: "Unpack Archives into individual Folders" have to be enabled.

The error described above bothers me too. I have also noticed that when extracting with Alt+F6, directories are no longer created automatically, and instead an error message appears saying that the target path does not exist.

3. I guess when you save a tab session, the focus will also be saved.

It will not be loaded, but it will still be saved.

MC does not remember the toolbar settings, and if you disable all toolbars in the settings – not under View – it does remember that, but the space where the toolbars would normally appear is still shown and not used for the explorer panels.

You need a MultiScript like

MC.Run CMD="${focusfilepath}" SHELL. 
I have assigned the F10 key to this MultiScript. 
Then you can use the normal selection (in toggle mode). 
For me, toggle mode is on the right mouse button. 
This works well, and selections can also be saved: 
Edit > Save selection to file.

So it works in previous version ? Sure ? because absolutely nothing about how that works is changed,

I think I had forgotten that after renewing the automatic restoration of the windows, I have to manually close all instances and restart the batch file. The error occurs when I simply shut down the system without closing and restarting beforehand. I use Windows 10 and will probably buy the Extended Support in October and then continue to use Windows 10 for at least half a year longer than the last update was.

"Autosizer" ? 3rd party tool ? why you need that for MC.? what does it to ?

This tool is not the reason. This is only a small, very old tool, and if I remove this tool, I can only bring that instances visible with SystemInformer.

The restoration of window size has changed since the last beta version. "Restore" works exactly once to bring windows that did not appear on the taskbar onto the taskbar, and the second time the windows remain in limbo. Previously, with Autosizer, I only had to set the window size and position once, and for subsequent system starts, I used the restore function. Now, this only works for one system start, and the next time the windows end up in limbo again and can only be retrieved with the setup of position and size. So now I have to change the configuration of Autosizer every second system start.

I don't have FF.  I can't reproduce that.
 
There was no error before that, that it failed to delete some files in the folder ? Is the folder empty?
Is the folder a real folder ? or special virtual files that FF hook into to do special stuff with?

The problem also occurred with other folders that came from a smartphone backup using MPE. The error message may vary, but it never offers the option to delete the files or end processes that might be preventing it.

I also have Firefox and have many "idb" folders deep within my profile storage archives, in paths similar to the one in your error log message. I've checked the properties for about half a dozen of them and they all show read-only attributes for the folders, and most or all of them contain additional read-only subfolders. You might need to clear that attribute from any folders you want to delete and they might be protected by some other running process.

That's an interesting point, but when files are in use, there is the option to terminate the corresponding processes, which isn't offered here. Also, nothing changes when running MC as an administrator, and the Windows Explorer deletes the respective folders without any issue.

The files do not need to be locked in order to reproduce the error. All the affected folders so far I have been able to delete easily using Windows Explorer. For testing, you can use a copy of a Firefox profile folder that contains many files.

I would like to have the file list view panel in the Explorer Panel to automatically change to display details (name, ext, size, date, etc.) when details view is selected and display only the filename when list is selected. I haven't yet found a way to do that. If this a new feature or something that is already available and I haven't found how to geet to it?

Configuration > Explorer Panel Settings > View Mode Settings
Here you can choose various tooltip settings for the "Detailed View Mode" and the "List View Mode," but I think these tooltips are not comprehensive enough for you. Showing details in a separate panel is a great idea.

I have updated to 3099, and now opening multiple files with the Enter key works again. So the issue must obviously be related to the MC code.

Unlocker ?

This is a very old program for deleting protected files. I don't think this is the reason for the issue.
My antivirus, F-Secure, quarantined MuktiCommander.exe, most recently on May 22. If others don't have this issue, then some kind of system error must have crept in on my end.

Use MultiScript and get all selected files, and loop and call it each..

Or if it is CustomCommands type.. you can enable option for that command to 'run command separately for each selected files/folder'

But "FocusFilePath" only uses the file that is currently in focus, not all selected files.
I guess I need a different command for that.

I use "C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\xnviewmp.exe" "${focusfilepath}" to open the focused file with XnView. That doesn’t work for multiple selected files. How can I do that for multiple selected files?

If I have multiple files selected, I can no longer open them by pressing the Enter key. Instead, Unlocker was being launched, and after uninstalling Unlocker, nothing happens at all. The "Open" link from the context menu still works, and everything functions correctly in other file explorers.

Printing what ? A text file ?  File list ?

Any file like Word document, PDF-Document. Or CAD. Select files to print and use the command.

User defined commands for printing and “New Text Document”. New tabs should open next to the active tab instead of at the end of the tab bar.
