Title: Menu "Help->Go to...->Config folder" opens application folder
Post by: Jungle on October 04, 2011, 14:52:13
I wonder whether it is a bug or not. When you select menu "Help->Go to...->Config folder" application folder is opened, just like in case of   "Help->Go to...->Application folder".

It depends on how it is installed. or if running from portable device.

Normally configuration is located under the personal appdata folder

( eg win7 -> "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\MultiCommander\Config\"  )

But if running from portable device. Then we do not want to store the configuration on the host computer, so then everything is saved under the application folder.

so then everything is saved under the application folder.
As i can see, everything is saved into the "config" subfolder of the app folder. So maybe "Help->Go to...->Config folder" should lead to "%app_folder%\config" ?
