Title: Directory headings change randomly (bug?)

When a directory is set for details listing, the details (date etc) sometimes seem to disappear and only the Name is shown in the header and in the listing.  The reason is that everything gets scrolled off the far right and it is tedious and difficult to drag everything back into its previously set position.  Then, sometimes after restarting the same thing will happen.  It is usually just one side of two panes that do this.  How to fix or work around this?

I have not been able to recreate anything like that.

Not sure I understand the issue. When do this happen ? when you change ViewMode ?? Go from List ViewMode to Detailed ViewMode ?, the column get so width the are out of view?
Are Horzontal scrollbar shown then ? 
Settings.
Explorer panel settings > Display (Tab) > Under "Sorting and columns" is "Autosize columns" enabled or disabled ?
