Multi-Tags can be used in Bat/External and Custom Commands and since you are calling an external bat your choice should be external.

So for example

Create a User Command of type : External
Code: [Select]
"D:\test.bat" ${sourcepath} ${targetpath}

I know. a minor bug, use the View Mode button instead. Last icon of the icons that are located after the "free space" area.

3779
Sorry, You cannot swap the order of the item. that is not supported.

%d mean that a number will be inserted at that place and %s mean a string will be inserted.

add an option to use progress bar from win XP (The green stripped bar).
Not possible.

change the color of the MC current progress bar.
Customize the progressbar colors are on the todo list so that will be added.

Feature Requests and Suggestions / Re: Default File Explorer

There are ways to hack Windows to allow another program to be started instead of explorer. But it is really a hack and not recommended.
If you google about it you will find how to do it

Feature Requests and Suggestions / Re: Folder tree
« on: August 21, 2012, 21:49:32 »
There already is a folder tree. First icon of the icon that are located after the Free space field.

3783
That is because MC did not filter the attributes for the files inside a 7z. It assumed that they was correct and did not do any extra validation.
And the crazy attribute values from 7z leaked into MC and they collided with internal attribute values.

3784
Don't know who created that 7z but something is wrong with it. It has attributes that are not allowed according to the 7z spec.

If they are shown in explorer when accessed through a drive letter then it should be showing in MC.

No idea. maybe there are some other settings. I do not know anything about that device.
Are the files shown using Explorer when the device has a device letter ?

Only devices that get attached as storage device are supported. If windows does not attach a drive letter to your device then it is not supported.

Doing a quick google about the sanas clip says that there is a settings in it that will make it so Windows will connect to it as a normal storage device.
"Go into Settings > System Settings > USB Mode and set it to MSC (Mass Storage Class)"

3788
How did you create that 7z file? Im not able to create a 7z file with D_ or A_ attributes.

3789
The file attribute does not explain why they are BOLD.. it can explain why it does not show a folder as a folder.. but not the BOLD.

What version are you running ? 2.5.1 and lower has older 7z and 2.7 has a newer

3790
Ahh Okey.

So you was running without the device dropdown. Okey I see..

Yes I was able to see the problem now. I will fix that.

3791
Strange that a reinstall worked. maybe some files failed to update correct or something..

The configuration for portable version is stored in the config/ folder where MultiCommander.exe exists.
for installed version on Win7 it is C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\MultiCommander\Config\

Buttons for the Buttons panel are configured in MultiButtons.xml and Layout and Colors for the ExplorerPanel is in ZFileManager.xml

If the old version is not portable then do not copy MultiCommander.xml to the new config folder.
But all of the other configuration files can be copied over.

3792
I do not know why it fail for you. Im not able to make it fail here.

The content of the network location is shown? You see files and folders in the the list ? or is the entire view also blank ?
Is the path field still blank if you continue to browse into a subfolder? no change if you click the refresh button ?

3793
I don't get how you can have some files can be shown as bold and some not. You must have manage to configure some settings in a way so that some conflict is created.

You can send you config file by pressing "send feedback" from the help menu inside MC (make sure configuration files are checked)
Or you can send the ZFileManager.xml configuration from the config(1) folder and send it to http://multicommander.com/upload/ o

(1) type ":goconfig" in the command line field to get to the config folder

3794
I'm not able to recreate that problem.

How do you to a \\server\share\folder location.  Typing it in the command line field ? button ? shortcut ? Editing the Path field and pasting it the path ? another way ?
WinXP ? Win 7 ?
Have you tweaked the UI and disabled any of the UI elements in the Explorer panel (new in 2.7 ) ?

If you edit the path field after you gone to the network path.. Is the editable path still empty ? (double click on path field, but outside of any path item. white space, or press Ctrl+E )

3795
No it colors files based on file name matching. If a file is inside a 7z or not does not matter the viewer does not know that. It just shows file names.

Is the font really different ? Or is it colors or bold style that make look little different. Looks like it matching .iso files and colors it different.
I would guess that you have the Color by File matching option enabled.
Check Explorer Panel Settings > Colors (Tab) > "Color file/folder based on file/Folder name"

3796
It uses the icon that Windows is using for folders, So changing what icon windows is using should change that.

3797
Im not sure how you manage that. The list can only handle one font. Only colors and bold/normal can be different for the items inside the list

Maybe you changed font and only one of the panels got updated ?
Files can have different colors based on name/ext matching or if it is hidden/system. That the file is inside a 7z file does not matter, the list view does not know that. it just shows file and colors of them can change based on name or file attributes.

To get it added to the download package, Just Press the Export button in the Language editor and send the file to me privately or upload it at http://multicommander.com/upload/
It does not need top be 100% complete.  Just send a new file when you ( or somebody else ) have added more to it.

Support and Feedback / Re: Full pane width not preserved
« on: August 17, 2012, 14:58:54 »
That is by design. Multi Commander is design to use a Source and Target panel. And If you go full width on some of the panels the other panel still exists. And some function still use it and focus can still be there. So to avoid mistakes it will always make sure that both panels are shown at restart.
You can toggle a panel to full o half with width Ctrl+F11. but if you are using only one panel all the time you are missing how MC is designed to work, and some functions will behave strange.
