#3 Implement a search box field in the Aliases dialog to facilitate entry filtering. This feature is particularly beneficial when navigating through numerous entries (helps de-cluttering), akin to locating a needle in a haystack. The search functionality should ideally encompass both labels and paths. See screenshot (I have too many entries ! (Button Panel is full too !)):  :( P.S: The challenge is that aliases are typically brief, necessitating specificity in search queries to effectively narrow results. P.P.S: It would be optimal if the CommandBar Auto-Complete feature in item #1 could also incorporate Alias suggestions.

Hi Matthias,

I have just installed the new version 15.4 and tried to get the correct folder size for a very long network path like documented above =>it's still showing to few bytes.

I got the same thing... I have never noticed that before in other updates.

Support and Feedback / Older versions not available
« Last post by Erni on Yesterday at 12:44:20 »
Hi,

tried to download and install an older version, however it always says "file not found" (or similar - please see screenshot for furhter details)

Tried to download older versions because of a possible bug I posted here:

https://forum.multicommander.com/forum/index.php/topic,4982.0.html

Starts with Build 3047 - Builds below this version are available.

Will download 3042 and us this one instead - should be also okay for my needs  ;)

Support and Feedback / Possible Bug (15.4.0.3088)
« Last post by Erni on Yesterday at 12:36:52 »
Hi,

after updating to 3088 the main Window stays empty if explorer tree is enabled (at least in my case...) and tab session shall be restored.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Multi Commander 3088 (Updated or clean installation - doesn't matter)
2. Configure 2 Windows: Left Window with 4 Tabs at different locations, Right Window: No explorer Tree enabled, position: Desktop
3. Enable explorer Tree on all 4 Tabs at the left window
4. Save the configuration
5. Restart the application

Result (see screenshot attached):

- No folders, no files visible in any tab of the left window (just blank "file handling window)
- Folder position (explorer tree) lost within every tab in any tab on the left window

Expected Result:

- Folders and files should be visible (as within the versions before 3088).
- Folder position should be restored from saved tab configuration (as within the versions before 3088).

As mentioned in short at the top: Clean install of 3088 has no effect.

Work around:
- Confirm folder path within every tab to restore folders and files by entering the line with mouseclick left an confirming with "enter".
--> However does not restore explorer tree position

Is it a bug or is the bug infront of the screen?  :D

Beside that: Thank you for making my life easier with this tool  :D
