Title: CTRL-PAGE-UP / DOWN not changable
Post by: Stephane on June 03, 2016, 18:18:03
Hi there,

I would like to re-assign the CTRL-PAGE-UP/DOWN buttons but Multi Commander won't let me do it. The original assignment is to switch into the next sibling folder (which I don't need). However, this key combination is nowhere in the Key configuration list and therefore can't be overwritten. Why is that?
Basically I want to assign CTRL-PAGE-UP to 'Go to parent folder' instead of the default BACK.

Any suggestions?
Cheers

I've just been experimenting a bit and it seems you cannot override the (internal) key binding of Ctrl+PageUp.

FWIW, Backspace only needs 1 finger ;).

Habit! after years of using CTRL-PageUp it's difficult to change. Anyway, it's odd that this particular key binding cannot be changed. The default function for CTRL-PageUp is pretty useless (for me).

Sorry.  Unfortunately some of the navigations keys can't currently be overridden.
Ctrl+PageUp/Down is some of them..

Thanks Mathias for letting me know. Hopefully it will be possible in one of the future updates.
