Title: Drag the file onto the program to open it
Post by: bbker on November 12, 2024, 03:00:06
Drag the file onto another program to open it quickly.
For example: There is a 1.txt file in Panel A, and there is a notepad.exe program in Panel B. I want to drag and drop the 1.txt file from Panel A to the notepad.exe file name in Panel B to quickly realize notepad-opening 1.txt

Hold Ctrl+Shift  (You get the Link overlay on the cursor )
Then when dropping you have a couple of different option you can do.

like if you want to Link the dropped file to that place, Or Replace the drop file with the file you drop on.
Or if You want to RUN the dropped file with the application you dropped it on.

:D Thank you for your reply. There is another small question: After holding down ctrl+shift and dragging, can the options in the pop-up menu be customized?
