Title: Could not update

Hi,

I get an error when updating MultiCommander to the latest version, v15.6 ( Build 3119 ) - 2025-09-18
See attachment, the error says "A reference was returned by the server."

I also tried with the "MultiCommander_x64_(15.6.0.3119).exe" setup file: if I click "Upgrade installation" nothing happens, and if I click "Uninstall installation" I get the same error message (but with "Uninstall MultiCommander.exe")

I Don't know what can cause that. I have never seen that before.
Do you run some security software that sandbox or do anything else with MC ?

nothing special with MC... I also tried disabling my antivirus software (ESET) but same error.
and nothing in the eventlog...
so weird
