Title: Problem with coloring files/folders
Post by: leixe87 on June 12, 2013, 12:31:24
Hi,

today i tried the new Rule Based File Coloring and i found a problem. Im not sure if it just occurs during the use of the new coloring management or if it is a general problem. After opening a folder i assign all file with Read-Only the color red. If i remove the Read-Only flag the color stays red until i rerun the coloring script or restart multicommander.

Greetings,

I know.. Right now it does not reset the assigned color when file item is changed.

Ok but i was wondering that a Refresh has also no effect.

It does..
Code: [Select]
FileColoringRefresh(); resets all set colors

 ;D not that kind of refresh i mean the F5 refresh wich refreshs the content of the current tab.

F2/F5 only refreshed the filesystem content. Not the colors.

(Just to clarify for everybody else, Rule based file coloring is still experimental and is still under development )

Ok, but maybe it is possible to implement the coloring refresh during the filesystem refresh. Nontheless is like this feature very much because i use many different rules for coloring scenarios. So go one Mathias :D
