Quick searching files/folders by typing/pressing keys has stopped working in build 2962. It was working until this build

This works for me in Build: 2962.

I made few tests and discovered that quick searching is working only when I try to search string without first letter.
For example:
I have files:
axx
bxx
cyy
dyy
When i press "a" or "b" or "c" or "d" key, nothing happens and nothing appers in quick search edit field.
When I press "x" or "y" key, then letter "x" or "y" appears in quick search edit field. Then I can press another "x" or "y".

It works. It seems like section <startup></startup> was missing and config lines were added at the end of file (after </config>).

Support and Feedback / Problem with focus after opening FTP connection

If I connect to FTP server, "Log window" appears, which now has focus instead of panel, so after connecting I must click on panel to use keyboard (ie. arrows).
It happens only once after opening MC for the first time. If I close Log windows and opens connection to FTP server again, focus is still on panel. But if I close MC, open it again, focus is set to Log window for the first connection to FTP server.

Is it possible to add possibilty to compare content of two archives (ie. zips)? I mean only listing which files is missing in one archive in comparison to other archive.

I chose option to show toolbar "Quick Launch Bar" by mistake. Now I can't hide this toolbar permanently. When I hide it, this toolbar shows again after MC restart.

There is a bug in FTP. When I abort moving file from FTP to i.e. local disk, after clicking yes or no on dialog "local file is incomplete, delete it?", the file on remote FTP is deleted and it shouldn't be touched because local file is incomplete.

3. In this thread I made a mistake in my previous post. Thre correct information is in thread: http://forum.multicommander.com/forum/index.php/topic,1205.msg4175.html
I tested it few seconds ago. I made two TXT files with only one letter 'A' in each other (a1.txt and a2.txt. Later I made two other TXT files with only one letter 'B' in each other (b1.txt and b2. txt). I packup two files b1.txt and b2.txt with 7zip archive using MC. I deleted b1. txt and b2.txt from folder, renamed a1.txt to b1.txt and a2.txt to b2.txt. Then I enter to 7zip archive, select both files and copy two files b1.txt and b2.txt from archive to the folder were b1.txt and b2.txt are. Files are overwritten without asking (no dialog is shown). When I view b1.txt and b2.txt, the letter 'B' is in both files.
When I try to copy only one file at time, the dialog is shown.

1. When I copy files from archive, buttons on copy dialog doesn't work (skip, pause/continue and abort)
2. When I copy one file from FTP to local and add to copy queue second file from FTP to local, MC stops after first file copying and doesn't try to copy second one

Every step you wrote is OK, but in next step, when I choose ie. ReplaceAll, there is "copying" with progress bar, but none of files is overwritten. Files are still old.
Copying from other archives ie. ZIP ies OK, files are overwritten and new

After update to this beta, when I try to start MC, it takes over 1,5GB of RAM in few seconds and no window of MC shows. I have to kill the app. I must downgrade
Win 7 32bit

When I copy only one file from 7z archive (which exists on destination panel) then the dialog, that file with the same name exists, appears, but when I select more than one file and copy them, the dialog doesn't appear and files are overwrited without any question.

When I enter .7z archive and copy files to other panel, MC overwrites files with the same names without asking what to do. Normal copying and copying from i.e. ZIP is OK.

I started to use MC. My previous file manager had some bugs and it is not developed any more.
My first suggestion is to change color of progress bars after pausing copying/moving. Now they are always blue and can be i.e yellow during pause.
My second suggestion is to add possibility to clear filter (right bottom edit box in panels) by pressing the key, i.e. ESC. Now I have to delete filter by pressing Backspace few times or select all by Ctrl+A and delete by DEL or Backspace. In my previous manager i could clear filer by pressing ESC.
