I have many RAM (small size drives) which I need to move their data around (ctrl+a, F5) but the problem is that i have to unselect those system folders

is it possible to automate through scripting or another way the filtering ?

How is possible to hide some special folders like RecycleBin and System Information that are on the root of each disk. I do want to see all other system hidden files/folders

When I navigate inside a symbolic link (folder) MC keeps the root path I want to navigate to the symbolic link folder

for example I have a symbolic link c:\dropbox which points to d:\dropbox. When I go inside c:\dropbox I see the folders of my d:\dropbox however the path remains c:\dropbox. What I want is to move to d:\dropbox

my files are 10G and you can tell that MC is slow from the time needed to copy

I unchecked "Automatically detect read/write stratergy for file copy"

and tweak both Normal profiles (same and different disks) however performance not affected at all

did I miss something?

Hi

When using explorer to transfer large files between my ssd disk the transfer rate is maximum 450Mb/s but with MC I only get 15Mb/sec. I use the portable version which I run as administrator on Windows 10.

thnks for the reply, at the moment I m not so advance to script (I will do it for sure though). I am interested in supporting machine depended versions of simple userdefined commands, mostly goto path shortcut where i want to have the same shortcut across my machines but I need to open a different path

Hi,

I use a portable version stored in my google drive so I have MC in synch everywhere. The problem is that I need to create different version of my commands for each pc based for example in the machine name. So how should I proceed?

Hello,

I define a user command with a hotkey (ctrl+alt+shift+d)

MC.Explorer.Goto PATH="c:\"

I have to heed the hotkey twice in order to navigate. Am i missing something?
