Hi,

Thanks for prompt reply.  I tried changing that setting, and no luck, nor does shift-F2 show the thumbnail either. 

Actually, you were on the right track, the solution turns out to be the opposite of what you suggested.  If I change that setting to use "Internal created and cached by MC", the thumbnails will show as new files are added to the directory.

Hi,

I see that it was mentioned several years ago, but SFTP support would be nice.  It would allow me to get rid of another program and do almost everything with MC.  Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I am trouble figuring out how to get MC to refresh the thumbnails in a folder panel, which is how I would like MC to operate (other file apps, such as Xyplorer, refresh thumbnails automatically on the fly).  In MC, they do not refresh until I exit and restart.

Can you advise?
