In order to avoid modification of the Menu layout, I uncheck the "allow rearrange buttons" possibility.
Unfortunately, this choice is not saved for my future MC session.
Is there a way to make my choice permanent?

I agree.  The recycle bin could appear at the bottom of the folder tree,  for instance.

Is it possible to set up a button which triggers a simple windows command?
I'd like to use when convenient the "one shot" windows "delete" function instead ot the MC more sophisticated "delete"
