When clicking the column header to sort by date, it sorts each file type by date instead of sorting the entire list within the folder.

For file types, you could cache the extensions and descriptions from HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT in the registry. You could just need minor filtering and trimming of the descriptions to be able to match those of Windows Explorer.

I mean by not having to press ctrl-E though. Not sure why it is locked until ctrl-E is pressed?

Please make the path for each panel editable so that:
- it can be quickly added to e.g. I:\abc to I:\abc\def\xyz
- it can be easily copied (ctrl-C) for use in other applications
- it can be overwritten by pasting (ctrl-V) from other applications

I would like to have the option (could be enabled or disabled in settings) to have Multi Commander highlight and autoscroll to files that have been moved or copied into a folder in the active window.

I would like to
- see the name and extension as a single line in the Name column so that it is easy to edit
- have a Type column that shows the associated program

The screenshot example is taken from Windows 7 Explorer.
