Select multiple folders/files with keyboard
« on: February 17, 2014, 00:06:25 »
Hello,

I was wondering is there a keyboard shortcut with which I can select multiple folder and/or files, but not using SHIFT + ARROW or INSERT? The files/folders are not in any way related (the have no same name, no same extension...). I mean something like SPACE in TotalCmd...

In Quick Look'n'Feel setup choose Commander Style. So you'll get behaviour similar to TC. E.g. you'll be able to (un)select using Space or Ins. But Space will not move down file cursor.

You switch between the two default setups in the Quick Look'n'Feel setup.
There is Commander styled and Windows Explorer Styled. Since you mention TC, I guess you will use Commander styled setup. It is similar to the setup that TC have.
If none is selected at first start of MC. Then Commander styled is used,

Main menu > Configuration > Quick Look'n'Feel setup

Keyboard configuration can be customized via Main menu > Configuration > Keyboard Customization
Mouse configuration can be customized via Main menu > Configuration > Explorer Panel settings... > Mouse configurations
