MC blocked by Comodo?
« on: April 19, 2015, 15:11:48 »
I just updated to 5.1.1 b1926 & it seemed quite happy.   (W7 x64)
I then updated comodo CIS & rebooted, now MC will not get past the splash screen - it's showing ''reading MC Config''.
Cannot force MC to close, must het reset to get rid of splash...
MC & MC dir are whitelisted in every aspect of CIS....
Any ideas?
I am going to post on Comodo forums as well.

I don't know.. I don't know anything about comodo and how it works. Only know what it causes lot of issue because it is very intrusive.
Maybe you also need to whitelist the the personal config folder  ? C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\MultiCommander\
Do you need to whitelist every folder that MC read/write to ?

Thanks for the reply Mathias.
I had whitelisted as much as possible but I discovered the new CIS was also killing other programs as well - like VLC  ::).
I was forced to spend a couple of hours cleaning it off the OS & starting again.
Not the best way to spend Sunday  :(
