Cloud providers support?
« on: March 06, 2017, 14:02:41 »
Hi,
do you plan implementing any support for cloud providers without official clients? Some of them have native open protocols support, e.g. Amazon S3 and OneDrive support WebDav.
Do you plan to support WevDav all in all?

No, no plans for that at the moment, It would require to much time. And that is time I do not have.
But MC has a API so anyone can create a FileSystem Plugin that can support it, Maybe someone will one day

My PC is running Windows 10 Pro.

After adding a webdav to my network location via Windows Explorer, I cannot find the network location in MultiCommander.

As a workaround, after mapping a drive to the webdav (eg newbielink:https://mynas.com:1234/home [nonactive]), I can see it in MultiCommander.

I don't know much about webdev what windows does with them.
If it is exposed as a network server in windows it should be shown under network (net:) in MC.
But it can also be some special Windows shell item that windows add. so it adds a Fake virtual device into the shell. Then MC will not see it since MC is not built ontop of the Windows Shell.
