how can I focus the command line with the keyboard?

Tolis,

 type backquote (`).  On a QWERTY keyboard it's the key to the left of '1' and above Tab.

thnks! I just wonder how you happen to know this? was it by luck or you tried all keys to see what they do?

Neither luck nor trial-and-error.

It is buried in the documentation here: http://multicommander.com/docs/ExplorerPanel2 under the section 'Forward Keys'.

I'm one of the few who really does RTFM  ;D
