Make file names web friendlyfast
« on: May 19, 2017, 06:04:52 »
Does this program offer a way to shrink file names to be web Friendly?   if you save a file as Me at capitol.jpg it is not.. it needs to have no spaces in it   Needs to look like meatcapitol.jpg

or changed to numbers or something.. and shrink all images to a smaller size so they allow faster?

Regarding rename, there're several ways:
- select Tools > Rename menu and choose appropriate renaming method;
- select Extensions > MultiRename menu and create your own renaming profile;
- create MultiScript command (probably the most advanced way).

There is not built in "Make WebFriendly" rename, Because what is webfriendly? You want to remove space, But spaces are allowed for web, Just url encode them and put %20 in the url instead of a space. and so on.

But as Jungle say. There are commands to rename, and you can create scripts that rename exactly as you want and then assign that to a hotkey
