Tab Sessions drop down menu
« on: November 22, 2024, 16:57:51 »
Hello Mathias,

it would be nice if there was a button that would provide a drop down like the sub-menu in the File > Tab Sessions sub menu (see picture).

I tried to find an internal command that would pop that menu to make a user defined command (UDC) that would pop it directly, but I did not find any.

regards, m.

 :) nice,
Please, consider also showing the managing commands as in the submenu. I just makes sense as it would be unnecessarily cumbersome to always have to open the main menu and then the submenu. At the same time, these entries in a button drop down won't be a bother.

Just as a hint: in XYplorer SessionManager is an advanced user script, but as such, I think, the most downloaded script.

I created such a menu myself. You need to create a user-defined command for each tab session and then add them to a custom menu. Creating such a user-defined command is done using the "Internal Commands" setting. Select the module "MultiCommander base," and then, under "Command," you can find the tab sessions along with other commands. The entries start with "Session." @Dev: Why are this commands not listed in alphabetical order? While reading this list i was confused.
