start on left
« on: August 24, 2012, 17:53:10 »
Hi,
Multi Commander is really great. But how to make it start on the left side (the bar)? It always starts on the right?

the bar you can move up an down. it always starts on the right panel. I want it to be on the left, as I'm used to. If I quit when it is on the left side, and then start the program, it's on the right side again.

Eh the bar , up /down ?
You mean that the left panel is in focus when you start ?

That can not be controlled. It is so because the last created tab gets the focus..

ok, maybe I'm still vague. I enclose an image. The bar is never on the left no matter how you quit the program.

yeah. Just like in Total Commander. I got used to the active left panel. I have been using this since DOS Norton Commander.

So after MC start just press the "tab" key and the focus is changed to the other side. :)

May I propose to add a commandline parameter option to allow that, something like /activeleft ?

My 2 cents

That would be great! I know that it is a matter of hitting "Tab" once, but after so many years it's just against my nature ;-)
